Challenge
KCEP needed a logo design and tri-fold brochure to introduce their organization as they began their work producing research; promoting public policy; and serving as advocates to decision makers on the need for policies that work for all.
The Center conducts research analysis and education on important policy issues facing Kentucky’s commonwealth.
Solution
The final chosen logo conveys a sense of stability and trust. The client did not want anything edgy or showy. For the organization’s palette, we chose blue and tan; with secondary colors of green and brown. The logo design concept incorporates a grid—or graph—a tool that is recognized by all as a method often used to show and measure important data. The grid also serves as a subtle pattern throughout print material.
