Challenge

To help the company develop a cohesive design style for print and on social media, and create a website for generating online booking.

Solution

After reviewing business goals and a couple moodboard directions, the client settled on a navy and blush palette; classical style with an understated elegance. Navy stripes stand out, with cream and blush secondary colors, whimsical flowers and the occasional succulent.

Business cards are printed on the front and back: Morgan’s pretty face and logo on the front with pertinent contact information on the back.

Creating moodboards is so much fun and a great challenge! Before I designed Morgan Allyson Beauty ’s business cards, we did a few studies for her business’s color palette, aesthetics, and visual style for her business. The primary color—navy—was a strong preference for its connotations of elegance, calmness, and sophistication. Blush and cream colors are secondary. And mint and lavender are accent colors.
