Challenge
As this was the 26th conference held by this organization, one challenge was to create a fresh design and to make a memorable publicity campaign promoting the annual conference and increasing attendance.
The Southern Sustainable Agriculture Working Group is a nonprofit that offers reasonably priced conferences for farmers and advocates every winter in rotating locations throughout the South.
Solution
The 2017 conference was held in downtown Lexington, Kentucky. A fresh look was created using licensed watercolor illustrations and hand-brushed calligraphy fonts.
